Congratulations to Filip Johansson, Sandra Bengtsson  Ulf Kristiansson and Fredrik Persson! Winners of the Nations cup 2011!

After a solid round on the beton and with Sweden 2 not on top of their game, Sweden 1 could play pretty relaxed and enjoy the sweet smell of victory.

Sweden left Germany, Austria and Switzerland with something to think about. Germany and Austria played very well on the qualification rounds but couldnt hold back the Swedish teams in the semis.

Finally Sweden 3 won the match for 5th place in a tight match against Switzerland with 2 strokes. The decisive moment was on lane 17 on the eternite (window) where Sweden 3 was 5 strokes better.

Finland wins the match for 7th place over Russia 253-262. Impressive played by Aki Sillman, 26 on the beton and Kosti Salonen 21  on eternite.

Bronze to Austria!

Austria fighted back and won the bronzemedals with 1 stroke. 212-213

Germany or Austria?

Austria had a 2 stroke lead after the eternite, but know the table has turned. Germany is now in the lead with 2 strokes.

Sweden 1 in the lead!

Halfway though the final Sweden 1 has open up a huge gap to Sweden 2. 86 (21, 21, 22, 22) on the difficult eternite course is very good and Swe 2 struggeled with a 96 (23, 24, 24, 25). Is the final already over?
